We are pleased to announce that the Romanian Football Federation hosted a special dissemination event for the Moveup Project at the Buftea National Football Centre. An event where sport, fun, and community spirit came together to benefit a worthy cause. The event took place on August 12th, 2025, and it featured an exciting charity match of football between a team of Romanian football legends and a team of popular influencers, attracting smiles, cheers and friendly competition.

At half-time, the match took an unexpected and entertaining twist – players switched to walking football for almost 10 minutes, demonstrating that the love for the game has no bounds and that it is accessible to people of all ages. The crowd loved it, the players had fun, and the event proved to be a great success, perfectly reflecting MoveUp’s mission to promote active lifestyles and social connection through sport.
